Jericho Ditch is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Brian Clifton.
The current show will consist of two works. A one hour-long video of the artist staring into the
camera while imagining various methods of torture, and the instructions for taking care of a
plant, known for it voracious growing habit, that was planted outside of the gallery door on the
occasion of the exhibition.
Brian Clifton is from Detroit Michigan and currently lives and works in New York. His work has
been shown in numerous exhibitions including Anton Kern Gallery, New York, NY; John Connelly
Presents, New York, NY; Rental Gallery, New York, NY; Larissa Goldston Gallery, New York, NY;
Hessel Museum CCS Student Galleries, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY; Center Galleries, Detroit, MI;
Commonwealth Gallery, Detroit, MI; Brown Gallery, London; Public Surface, Stockholm; and Be-Part
Museum, Waregem, Belgium. He was a recipient of the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant in 2007.
