Jericho Ditch is pleased to announce 106.9 THE FOX, an exhibition by Calvin LeCompte.
For the current show LeCompte will place a 100W Sony CFD radio inside the interior of
the gallery space. The dial will be set upon Isle of Wight's local classic rock station.
For the duration of the exhibition the entrance to the barn will be locked, yet
classics's such as Maggie May, Fly Like a Eagle, or Witchy Woman, will be heard not only
through the barn walls, but throughout the entire listening area. An auditory work that
not only activates the gallery, but continues to perpetually transmit LeCompte's notions
of impervious communication.
LeCompte was raised in Tampa Bay and currently lives and works in New York NY. Please
join us Saturday July 16th at 5pm for a opening reception at Jericho Ditch. For more
