JEROME MARSHAK 4.08.10 / 5.25.10
Jericho Ditch is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Jerome Marshak.

Marshak will show ten untitled ink and graphite drawings on paper. For the past five
years the artist has utilized the use of a remote studio on the south headlands of Lopez
Island. These recent drawings are the result of his time spent studying the light and
lines of the marine landscape of the Pacific Northwest.

Jerome Marshak was born in St. Louis Missouri in 1942 and began making art in 1965 while
studying law at Washington University in St. Louis. During the late 1960s and early 1970s
his work was exhibited at the Los Angeles Artist's Association, the Comsky Gallery in Los
Angeles, and more recently at The Drawing Center in New York. Marshak currently lives and
works on Lopez Island in Washington State. Please join us for a opening reception on
Tuesday April 13th at 11pm at Jericho Ditch. For more information please contact the
