Jericho Ditch is pleased to announce Great Expectations, a solo exhibition by Ryan Sawyer. 144 Earvine
(Magic) Johnson MVP cards, a functioning homemade distillery, one oil painting, and several ink jet prints
on aluminum make up the current exhibition.

Mining the parallels between collecting and the collector, Sawyer's works shed light onto relationships,
marketing, and obsession with a sense of optimism and doubt alike.

Ryan Sawyer was born in Smithfield Virginia in 1983, and graduated with a BFA from the School of Museum of
Fine Arts Boston. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions including The Chrysler Museum
of Fine Arts, Norfolk VA, The Redemption Center, Brooklyn NY, The Stanton Chapter, New York NY, and USSA
Fine Arts Brooklyn NY. He was awarded A Virginia Museum of Fine Arts award in 2002.

Join us Thursday January 28th at 5pm for an opening reception at Jericho Ditch. Whisky and greens will be
served. For more information please contact the gallery at info@jerichoditch.com
